Students at Steamboat Montessori enjoy access to many enriching educational experiences beyond the classroom, including regular instruction in Spanish language, Art, and physical education. Students in grades 1st-6th participate in weekly, rotating enrichment programs on Wednesdays, taught by adult volunteers, in a wide variety of areas. Past offerings have included: fly fishing, ceramics, rock climbing, student government, igloo construction, photography, and more. Selections rotate every 6-8 weeks, and students select their enrichment on a first-come basis, as cohort sizes are small. Parent and adult volunteers are always needed. If you are interested in volunteering to instruct an enrichment offering, please contact the enrichment coordinator.
