Dear Parents,
Happy Friday! We are in the thick of our enrollment season as we begin planning for next year. Steamboat Montessori is a wonderful learning community, and we hope you will all return. Please fill out this Intent to Return 21-22 form so we can begin planning for our Open Lottery on February 8th. We do anticipate spots in our Kinder through 3rd grade program, while we anticipate our Upper Elementary program will be full, given we are retaining 6th grade in anticipation of our move to Middle School.
Technology – how to use it, what to be aware of, what to restrict! Join in on two parent education events being offered over the next couple of weeks. These events are being brought to you by Ross Montessori of Carbondale, and Emerald Mountain School.
- What you need to know about Teens and Technology: Feb. 9th at 9am, a talk with Lori Getz
- Child Disrupted: A documentary film asking the question: are we in danger of raising a generation of children disrupted by the overuse of technology? Feb. 3rd at 6pm

Monday, February 15th-Friday, February 19th: No School (Blues Break)
Monday, February 22nd-Wednesday, February 24th: K-5th Remote learning, NO SCHOOL PRIMARY
*we will be offering schoolwide FREE COVID testing on Monday, February 22nd, details to follow
Thursday, February 25th: Resume In-Person Learning for primary-5th grade
