As a new parent, I immediately joined the Steamboat Montessori Parent Council–it was such a great way to get plugged into the community, to meet other parents, and to learn more about parenting in a way that complimented what my kids were learning in the classroom. Learning from other veteran parents helped us so much. The projects and volunteering was also really fun, I can’t recommend it enough!
